Russia’s First Deputy PM Manturov to Foster Trade, Economic Ties with India

Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov is visiting India for two days, starting November 11, to strengthen bilateral ties between the two nations.
During visit , Manturov will attend the Russian-Indian Business Forum in Mumbai, focusing on expanding cooperation between entrepreneurs in areas like industrial cooperation, transport and logistics, finance, digital technologies, and interregional ties.
Manturov will also co-chair the 25th Session of the Intergovernmental Russian-Indian Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Cultural Cooperation with India’s Minister of External Affairs, Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, in New Delhi. This session aims to bolster bilateral cooperation across various sectors.
The visit highlights the growing trade relationship between India and Russia, with bilateral trade growing significantly in 2023, reaching around double the target of $30 billion set for 2025. The leaders have set a new target of $100 billion by 2030.
