PM Modi Interacts with IAS Officer Trainees, Emphasizes Proactive Governance

Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with 181 IAS Officer Trainees of the 2022 batch at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan in New Delhi. The officers, attached as Assistant Secretaries in various Ministries and Departments, shared their training experiences. PM Modi recalled his earlier interaction with them during the Aarambh program in 2022.

He highlighted the intent behind the Assistant Secretary program: to provide experiential learning opportunities for young officers. Emphasizing proactive governance, he urged them to strive for the best possible outcomes in governance, manufacturing, and citizens’ quality of life. He encouraged a saturation approach to ensure social justice and prevent discrimination in schemes like Lakhpati Didi, Drone Didi, and PM Awas Yojana.

PM Modi inspired the officers to be catalytic agents of change, feeling satisfaction as they see the impact of their work. He reiterated “Nation First” as his life’s aim and invited them to join him on this journey. He encouraged them to focus on the future, rather than past accolades.

The interaction was attended by Minister of State (Personnel) Jitendra Singh, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister P. K. Mishra, Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba, and Home Secretary A.K. Bhalla, among other senior officers.
