K-Food Universe Brings Korean Flavors to New Delhi
New Delhi, October 25, 2024 – Get ready to embark on a culinary journey through Korea! The K-Food Universe pop-up store is coming to DLF Avenue Saket’s outdoor square from October 25 to November 17, 2024. This unique event, organized by the Korean Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, promises to delight visitors with authentic Korean food and cultural experiences.
The venue will be transformed into five themed zones inspired by famous Korean landmarks, offering a diverse range of activities and experiences. Visitors can immerse themselves in Korean youth culture at Play Hongdae, enjoy casual Korean dishes and street snacks along a recreated Hangang River atmosphere at Picnic Hangang, shop for K-POP goods and merchandise at Seongsu Street, discover popular Korean foods and beverages at Namdaemoon Market, and learn about kimchi’s history and regional variations at the Kimchi Zone.
Throughout the event, cultural quiz shows and K-POP dance performances will take place on stage, along with a cooking program featuring Korean artists that requires pre-registration. A Stamp Rally will also encourage visitor participation, offering special souvenirs upon completion of missions.
K-Food Universe will run from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends. This comprehensive event will showcase traditional fermented foods, trendy dishes, and the unique charm of Korean culture.
