Israeli Defense Companies Showcase Advanced Technologies to Counter Drones

A seminar in Delhi, held from September 2-4, marked a significant step forward in strengthening security cooperation between Israel and India. The event, organized by the Israeli Ministry of Defense and the Indian Ministry of Defense, aimed to enhance collaboration in combating the growing threat of drones.

Israel shared its operational experience and advanced technological capabilities with India, focusing on addressing the security and criminal aspects of drone threats.
Nine Israeli defense companies showcased advanced technologies to counter drones, including Cyber Radio Frequency (CRF) based systems, intelligent fire control systems, AI-driven vision and robotics systems, and solutions based on sensors, radars, electronic warfare, and communication systems.
The seminar featured participation from representatives and senior officials from the Israel Ministry of Defense, economic and security attachés, and representatives from the Indian Ministry of Defense, military branches, Ministry of Interior, and defense and civilian industries from both countries.
The seminar also focused on creating business synergies between Israeli and Indian industries, exploring partnerships to address drone threats. Over 150 business meetings were held between Israeli companies and Indian industry representatives. The Israeli delegation also conducted site visits to prominent Indian entities to gain insight into present and future drone threats.
The seminar provided a unique opportunity for Israeli defense industries to create business opportunities, develop connections with government officials and key local industry players, and establish B2B relationships with Indian companies. The event reflected the commitment of both countries to continue and deepen security cooperation, sharing knowledge and technologies to develop joint solutions to modern threats.
Director of the IMoD International Defense Cooperation Directorate (SIBAT), Brig. Gen. (Res.) Yair Kulas, stated, “The seminar provided a unique opportunity for Israeli defense industries to create business opportunities and deepen security cooperation between the countries.”
Amit Satija, Joint Secretary DIP, Department of Defence Production, Indian Ministry Of Defence, added, “The seminar reflected the commitment of India and Israel to continue and deepen security cooperation between the countries.”
Israel Embassy Economic Counsellor, Natasha Zangin, noted, “Israeli technologies generate significant interest from both public and private entities in India. We will continue to support Israeli companies in their endeavors in India.”
D-Fend Solutions, Septier, and Sentrycs, showcased Cyber Radio Frequency (CRF) based systems capable of detecting, locating, and neutralizing drones. Smart Shooter introduced intelligent fire control systems for small arms, enabling precise interception of drones. ThirdEye Systems demonstrated AI-driven vision and robotics systems for detecting and identifying drones and small aircraft. Additionally, ELTA Systems, Rafael, Elbit Systems, and Skylock exhibited advanced solutions leveraging sensors, radars, electronic warfare, and communication systems to detect, identify, and neutralize drones.
