India’s Republic Day Parade to Debut Tri-Services Tableau

New Delhi: In a historic first, India’s 76th Republic Day Parade on January 26, 2025, will feature a Tri-services tableau, showcasing the country’s commitment to jointness and integration among its Armed Forces.

Themed ‘Shashakt aur Surakshit Bharat’ (Strong and Secure India), the tableau will highlight the conceptual outlook for jointness and integration, ensuring national security and operational excellence. The display will feature a Joint Operations Room, facilitating networking and communication among the three Services, as well as a battlefield scenario demonstrating a synchronized operation in land, water, and air.

The tableau will showcase India’s indigenous defense capabilities, including the Arjun Main Battle Tank, Tejas MKII fighter aircraft, Advanced Light Helicopter, destroyer INS Visakhapatnam, and a Remotely Piloted Aircraft. These platforms exemplify India’s vision to achieve ‘Aatmanirbharta’ (self-reliance) in defense.

The Ministry of Defence has declared 2025 as the ‘Year of Reforms’, with jointness and integration at the core of its mandate. The Headquarters, Integrated Defence Staff, has taken focused actions towards Tri-services synergy to drive reforms and enhance India’s military capabilities.

This historic debut of the Tri-services tableau marks a significant milestone in India’s journey towards jointness and integration, fostering a culture of shared responsibility and unified action in safeguarding national interests.
