India’s First-Ever Ice Skating Show “Scheherazade” Premieres in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, Gujarat, October 18, 2024 – India’s first-ever ice skating show, “Scheherazade — Ice Show,” premiered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on October 18, 2024, bringing an unforgettable experience for the audience. This unique event features renowned Olympic Gold Medalist figure skater Tatiana Navka and other world-class skaters.

The show is a perfect blend of ice skating, theater, and captivating stories from the famous collection “One Thousand and One Nights.” Russian Ambassador to India Denis Alipov attended the opening ceremony, praising the show’s uniqueness and Tatiana Navka’s exceptional talent.

EKA Arena in Ahmedabad housed a specially prepared site, using over 100 tons of real ice. The main roles in the “Scheherazade — Ice Show” are played by renowned figure skaters, including Victoria Sinitsina, Nikita Katsalapov, Ivan Righini, Egor Murashov, and others.

Tatiana Navka’s performance is a highlight of the show, showcasing her incredible skating talent and artistry. The show is based on magical stories from “One Thousand and One Nights,” with beautifully synchronized choreography and a rich musical score. Stunning visual effects, intricate lighting, and beautifully designed costumes add to the spectacle.
