Indian Navy to Host Prestigious Sailing Championship at Ezhimala
The Indian Navy’s largest sailing regatta, the Indian Navy Sailing Championship (INSC), is set to take place from October 16 to 19, 2024, at the Indian Naval Academy (INA) in Ezhimala. The Marakkar Watermanship Training Centre (MWTC) will host over 100 participants from the Indian Navy, who will compete in five different classes of boats across three racing formats.
This annual inter-Command event is conducted under the aegis of the Indian Naval Sailing Association (INSA) to encourage participation of naval personnel in competitive sailing. Teams from the three Naval Commands, comprising officers, cadets, and sailors, including Agniveers, will vie for top honors.
