“Eastern & Western Music Treasures” Concert Celebrates India-Taiwan Cultural Exchange

New Delhi, India – Get ready for a mesmerizing musical experience as the Taipei Philharmonic Foundation and The Neemrana Music Foundation join forces to present “Eastern & Western Music Treasures”. The event will be held on October 1, in New Delhi.

This grand concert will feature over 50 singers from Taiwan and India, blending Western classical music, Indian melodies, and Taiwanese musical traditions. The diverse repertoire will showcase the rich cultural exchange between the two nations, symbolizing the universal language of music.

Music transcends borders, and this collaboration aims to deepen the cultural bond between Taiwan and India. Ferdinand Ta-Ming Ting, Executive Director of the Taipei Philharmonic Foundation, emphasized the significance of this joint concert, representing a meaningful exchange of artistic traditions.

The Taipei Philharmonic Foundation, founded in 1988, has been instrumental in cultivating young Taiwanese musicians and elevating artistic standards. With performances in over 30 countries, it has established itself as a global ambassador of Taiwanese music.

The Neemrana Music Foundation, based in New Delhi, has promoted Western classical music in India and trained young singers and musicians. Aude Priya Wacziarg, Managing Trustee, described the concert as “a beautiful testament to the longstanding cultural and diplomatic ties between India and Taiwan.”

The concert promises an evening of musical excellence, merging the voices of 60 talented singers from India and Taiwan. Audiences will experience a unique blend of Western classical traditions with the distinct sounds of Indian and Taiwanese music, celebrating the enduring friendship between the two nations.
