CISF Introduces Landmark HR Policy to Enhance Operational Efficiency and Personnel Welfare
New Delhi: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has unveiled a comprehensive Human Resource (HR) policy aimed at transforming the force into a future-ready organization. This policy is designed to foster a more resilient, motivated, and satisfied workforce, while addressing the evolving security landscape and the needs of its personnel.
The CISF’s new HR policy creates a pool of domain experts in critical areas such as Information Technology, Aviation Security, and Anti-Drone solutions. This move will enable the force to develop and implement world-class security solutions.
In a significant departure from its previous policies, the CISF will now offer choice-based postings to its personnel. This will enable them to list their preferred posting locations, enhancing work-life balance and job satisfaction.
The policy also includes special provisions for women and couples. Women personnel will receive preference in posting after six years of non-choice posting, while married working couples will find it easier to work in the same location.
To ensure transparency and predictability, the CISF has introduced a fixed timeline for issuing posting orders. Posting orders for retirees will be issued by December 31, while women personnel will receive their orders by January 15.
The CISF has undergone significant growth and transformation since its last posting guidelines in 2017. With a sanctioned strength of over 1.9 lakh personnel, the force has expanded its operational footprint and ventured into new areas like jail security and Parliament House Complex security.
This landmark HR policy demonstrates the CISF’s commitment to its personnel and its mission to provide top-notch security solutions. As India’s premier security agency, the CISF is poised to tackle the challenges of a rapidly evolving security landscape, while ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of its personnel.
