Chhattisgarh Security Forces Achieve Major Victory, Neutralizing 22 Naxals in Two Encounters

Raipur: In a significant triumph over Naxalism, security forces in Chhattisgarh have successfully eliminated 22 Naxals in two separate encounters. The operations took place in the Bijapur and Kanker districts, marking a major blow to Naxal presence in the region.
In the first encounter, 18 Naxals were neutralized in the Gangalur police station area of Bijapur district. A joint team of security forces achieved this success, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to eradicating Naxalism.
In a separate operation, a joint team of security forces eliminated 4 Naxals in the Kanker-Narayanpur border region. This encounter further underscores the determination of the security forces to root out Naxalism from Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai praised the bravery and dedication of the security personnel, stating, “Our brave soldiers are achieving historic success in the fight against Naxalism. Their victory is a testament to their hard work, commitment, and unwavering determination.”
While celebrating this significant victory, the Chief Minister also expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of one DRG jawan who lost his life in the Bijapur encounter. He offered condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the peace of the departed soul.
Reiterating the state government’s commitment to eradicating Naxalism, Chief Minister Sai emphasized that security operations will continue until Chhattisgarh is completely free from this menace.
