The Border Security Force (BSF) successfully foiled an infiltration attempt by a Pakistani intruder at the Amritsar border on September 16, 2024. The incident occurred during the night hours when alert BSF troops detected suspicious movement near Village-Ratankhurd in Amritsar district.

A Pakistani intruder attempted to cross the International Boundary, taking advantage of the darkness. Despite being challenged by BSF troops, the intruder displayed aggressive behavior and failed to comply. The troops responded swiftly, neutralizing the intruder on the spot.

A search of the intruder’s possessions revealed Pakistani currency worth Rs. 270 in various denominations. The BSF has handed over the intruder’s body to the Gharinda Police Station for further investigation.
