The 12-women team, led by their unwavering spirit and determination, will embark on a journey to hoist the National Tricolor and BSF flag on the summit.

The expedition seeks to achieve multiple objectives, including promoting women empowerment and inspiring the younger generation to realize their dreams, conveying the message of environmental conservation through the “Swachh Bharat-Swachh Himalaya” and “Hum Fit To Bharat Fit” campaigns, developing qualities like leadership, camaraderie, discipline, and self-confidence among the team members, and collecting trash from high-altitude camps and promoting responsible mountaineering practices.

This expedition marks a significant milestone in the history of central armed police forces, showcasing the capabilities and determination of women in the BSF. The team’s success will not only be a testament to their strength and resilience but also a source of inspiration for generations to come.

The expedition will take place from August 5 to September 15, 2024. The team will face numerous challenges, including extreme weather conditions, treacherous terrain, and high-altitude sickness. However, their unwavering commitment to the mission and to each other will drive them forward.
