Amit Shah Chairs Key Security Meeting on Jammu and Kashmir
New Delhi – Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah convened a high-level security review meeting on Jammu and Kashmir, underscoring the government’s commitment to establishing a terror-free region.
The meeting, attended by top officials including Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir Manoj Sinha, Union Home Secretary, and heads of security agencies, focused on strengthening national security and stability in the region.
Shah reiterated the Modi government’s zero-tolerance policy against terrorism, pledging to allocate necessary resources to achieve a terror-free Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts among security forces to dominate terrorism.
The meeting highlighted significant declines in terrorist incidents, infiltration, and recruitment of youth in terrorist organizations, attributed to the Modi government’s sustained efforts. Shah directed security agencies to continue collaborative efforts to eliminate terrorism.
Home Minister Shah emphasized on Implementation of the Area Domination Plan and Zero Terror Plan in mission mode. He also directed for enhanced coordination among security forces to counter terrorism.
