Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi Embarks on 4-Day UAE Visit to Boost Defence Ties
October 21, 2024 – India’s Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi, has begun a significant four-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The trip aims to fortify bilateral defense cooperation and maritime relations.
Admiral Tripathi will engage in high-level talks with Rear Admiral Pilot Saeed Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan and other senior UAE officials. He will also interact with student officers at the National Defence College, and witness the 3rd India-UAE Bilateral Naval Exercise.
This visit reinforces India’s commitment to regional security and its Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with the UAE, enhancing cooperation in maritime security, counter-piracy operations, and defense technology. Admiral Tripathi’s trip solidifies India’s dedication to fostering strong ties with the UAE, promoting peace and stability in the region.
