US-India Defense Ties Deepen as US Pavilion Opens at Aero India 2025

Bengaluru : The US-India defense partnership took a significant step forward today as the US Pavilion was inaugurated at Aero India 2025. The pavilion, one of the largest international exhibitions at the event, showcases cutting-edge aerospace and defense technologies from leading American companies.
Jorgan K. Andrews, Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., US Embassy New Delhi, inaugurated the pavilion, highlighting the growing importance of US-India defense ties. “The US-India defense partnership is a cornerstone of our bilateral relationship,” Andrews said. “We are committed to deepening our defense cooperation and providing India with the latest technology and equipment to meet its national security needs.”
The US Pavilion features exhibits from top American aerospace and defense companies, including Lockheed Martin, Boeing, and Raytheon Technologies. These companies are showcasing a range of advanced technologies, including fighter jets, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and missile defense systems.
The pavilion also highlights the growing partnership between US and Indian companies in the defense sector. Several Indian companies, including Tata Advanced Systems and Mahindra Defence Systems, are participating in the pavilion, showcasing their capabilities and partnering with US companies to develop new technologies.
The US-India defense partnership has grown significantly in recent years, with the two countries signing several major defense agreements, including the Logistics Exchange Memorandum of Agreement (LEMOA) and the Communications Compatibility and Security Agreement (COMCASA).
